Important Dates

The Avis Travel Agent Scholarship 2019 program will run based on the following timeline:

• 23^rd July – Program launch and applications open
• 23^rd September – Applications close
• 10^th October – Finalists announced
• 13^th November – Final judging and Awards Gala Dinner

The Application Process

Applications for the Avis Travel Agent Scholarship 2019 have now closed. Details of applications for the 2020 Programme will be made available on this site next year.

The first step in applying is to Register your interest online. Once this is completed, you are contacted with the first round questions and details of submission requirements. We support applicants with ongoing emails prior to the close date that include guidance on the application questions and reminders about deadlines for submission.

Entry Format

Applicants are encouraged to submit their response in video or PowerPoint format. Full details will be provided once you have registered.

Who should apply? 

The entry criteria for the Avis Scholarship are simple: you must be an Australian or New Zealand travel agent and be committed to delivering exceptional customer service. We love to see diverse responses from our applicants, regardless of whether you work with Avis products, work with leisure or corporate, or how long you have been in the industry.

The application and final presentations are open, friendly and focused on providing an educational experience.
